In this module, we’re going to use Hexo, a nodejs rapid-deployment framework, in a multi-user development project.
First, you’ll set up Nodejs, NPM and NVM and install Hexo.
Next, we’ll create and deploy a simple Hexo site to your domain.
When you have a bit of proficiency with all of that, we’ll create a group site repository that each of the students will fork with Git, create a branch, make changes to and finally, create a pull request, to merge it back into the main branch of the project.
Though simple, this effort is the culmination of a lot of new skills and techniques and represents the best practices in distributed development.
